The other day I spoke to freelance filmmaker Dave Watts who after only quadrating a couple of years ago is doing quite well. He said they key to his success was that he made contacts and did work experience while still at university. These contacts still ask for work now. He recommended that I speak to the Spinning Clock where he worked and ask if I could shadow some of the illustrators and designers. He said to mention him as it would help me get a possible reply.
I've sent them an email! Fingers crossed!
