Drawing

In past projects what I don't feel like I did enough drawing so that is my aim this this brief. Here are some of my initial drawings. 

Repeated drawings- I've done some repeated drawings to test media and line quality. By repeat drawing I will improve and find a favourite.

Repeat drawings of blueberry cake- This is a delicious cake made up of meringue, blueberries then sponge. They only sell it out restaurant that we have to ski too and we have in every year. 

Here I've tested different media; ink, pen, pencil, coloured pencil, paint.

I like the think black line on the drawing below. It reminds me of Lucinda Rogers' work

I thought about looking at the holiday altogether so I drew an airport.

People/figure drawing- I started thinking about how I could draw people and the drawings I did were quite characterised. This is a bit different to how I was drawing. This has confused my a i don't know what style and format my piece will be.

I drew some sketches in coloured pencil and started to add a bit of tone. I quite like this character below bu how would it fit with my other illustrations?
