I've seen Tom Woolly's work popping up on Instagram quite often but for some reason never followed him. I started following him recently after looking at his extensive map work as inspiration for my final major project. I also saw that he lives in Leeds! What stood out to me and what I'm most impressed by is his great use pf colour! I think I really struggle to use a limited colour palette but it's something I really want to bring into my future work. His strengths also lie with his use of shape and composition skills. He brings his maps to life and makes them not just an informative guide, but beautiful pieces of illustration that people would like to keep.
