Since seeing the value of my sketchbook and the work I produce in it, I've felt it to be important to showcase it. I finally feel that my sketchbook work actually informs my research and finished outcomes. I've seen a few illustrators showcase their sketchbook pages on their website, and with it becoming a big part of my process, I feel it's important for me to do the same. I asked my peers what they thought and they agreed! Until now I was embarrassed to show my sketchbook work. I think it helps communicates me as an illustrator.
