I've got to take my portfolio to the RSA presentation/interview in May and I currently don't my work printed ahhhhhhh! Luckily I have my physical portfolio (folder) already so I don't have to worry about that! Anyway the work that I take with me is going to be slightly different to my actual portfolio and I'm going to put all my CoP3 boards in it (which takes in 5 spaces already) as it'll be mostly focused on that work. I asked Aggie if she would help me decide what else to include because I have no idea what work to take and she was lovely enough to say yes!
We went through my website and picked out some work. The email from the RSA stated that I can only include up to 6 projects. Aggie said that a lot of my work is applied illustration and this area of my work would be most appropriate to take with me. She thought it would be best for me to show the breadth of areas my work can be applied to and I agree.
So, I have chosen to take:
1. Taste it, Don't Waste it (educational)
2. Your Garden, Their Home (educational)
3. Stationary (gifts and stationary)
4. Orthotics patten (health)
5. Sketchbook pages of project I'm currently working on (something to show people what to look forward to)
6. YCN Royal Opera House (advertising campaign) (Also shows that I collaborate well)
I think this will show great breadth of illustrations and my most successful bits of work. I'm going to get my boards ready and show them to Fred before I print!
